Recycling

At NEDCON, we strive to integrate sustainability into all our operations, including the production and life cycle of our steel storage systems. In line with the United Nations SDG model, we took on the challenge of investigating how to make our steel warehouse racking systems recyclable in an environmentally friendly way. Also taking into account commercial viability, future-proofing and scalability.

To have this explored, we participated in the Soapbox SDG Challenge 2023, university edition. During the challenge, a team of talented students from multiple fields of study came together. Collectively, they were tasked with conducting a thorough investigation into various aspects related to recycling steel storage systems. Armed with the results from the research, we are ready to take the next steps.
